1.) Pointed bow-to move freely through the water
2.) Support bars to prevent sides from collapsing
3.) Non-flat bottom-moves easier through the water and to complete one of the challenges
4.) Wings-to take up surface area and to provide balance
5.) Keel-to hopefully prevent it from tipping over so easily
